There is a satisfying joy that comes from helping underprivileged children and youth find love, encouragement, and hope for the future. Sponsoring a child is a strategic way to obey God’s commands to love your neighbor, to love the poor, and to reflect Jesus’ compassion for children. This is a wonderful opportunity to “Sow Seeds of Life” into the fertile soil of a child’s life.

A $30.00 monthly investment will give hope to a needy boy or girl at the Aart Van Wingerden School in Haiti. Through Double Harvest’s “Sponsor A Child” program you can play a significant role in providing the following opportunities to a deserving child.

• A child will be selected for you from one of the villages that surround Operation Double Harvest.
• Each child will receive an education from preschool through high school presently up to Grade 12; Grade 13 to be added in 2008). Excellence in academics as well as vocational training will prepare your child for both Christian and vocational service opportunities, as well as further schooling.
• Each child will receive a solid Biblical curriculum, giving opportunity for the Spirit of God to do a work of regeneration and Christian growth.
• Each child will receive health and dental care through Operation Double Harvest’s Medical/Surgical Clinic, staffed with a full-time doctor, nurses, dentist, laboratory technicians, and a pharmacy.
• Each child will receive a substantial, well-balanced, hot meal each school day.

You can expect to receive the following from Double Harvest.

• A profile of your child with name, background, physical condition, and his or her picture.
• A timely academic report card.
• An annual updated photograph.
• An annual report of Operation Double Harvest’s overall ministry.
